Maple Peas are ideal as hook bait or on hair rigs. They can be used on their own, or together with hemp seeds as a ground bait.
They also lend themselves to flavourings as an extra attractant.
They can be used throughout the year.
To prepare the maple peas, soak for 12-24 hours. Add sugar to the water and add any flavouring you require. Then bring to the boil and simmer for around 15 minutes.
